We really enjoyed making this song and I think this comes across in its sound. Chwyldro was one of the very first songs we wrote when we just started getting together over a year or more ago now.

The single is available on all the usual streaming places, however we want to persuade people to go to our bandcamp to source it, not only because you get it straight from us but some of these big music platform companies are up to no good at all these days.

In little over a week @mwsog.cymru will have our first ever song out called 'CHWYLDRO', meaning Revolution.

Intentionally, we're releasing the song on October 31st - Nos Calan Gaeaf in Cymru, or known around the world as Halloween. Tragically in recent years, Halloween traditions have become extremely Hollywood and Americanised, in many ways losing the depth of their original purpose, and severing an important tie to our past. Part of what this collective stands for is a reclamation of our rites and our rights, a sentiment in the story of our new track and the next two to be released soon after it.

I can't thank those of you enough who have been supporting us in any way you have been able. A like, a share, a recommendation to friends or coming along to our gigs, it's all helped encourage us along and make progress. Without it we'd just be jamming in the pub corner every weekend for a laugh.

In my little world, this is a monumental moment, one I'll never forget. I'm so very proud of this little family we've created over the last 18 months or so. They've put in such hard work and mountains of time and effort, including those of you not pictured here, but behind the scenes have been equally as important along the way. It's an honour to stand beside you all, let alone share a creative relationship.

Everyone! - Please do stick some headphones on when October 31st comes around, and enjoy the music we have poured our life force and love into. It's a big band, with loads going on in the background and forefront simultaneously, so it's my recommended way to really hear the song properly. It does also bang on full volume in your vehicle of choice (provided you have adequate speakers).

It was a huge undertaking to record MWSOG, made a pleasure by @steffanpringle when we all went away to record with him in the spring. We're extremely happy with what we've managed to come out with and we hope you are too!

This song is a dedication to our ancestors who struggled so hard under extreme circumstances, to make a better life for those in the future by remembering the stories from the past.
