story time.

me, dylan, and brandon and sometimes val — were locked in the studio working on june. really working. it was the first time everything felt clear like i wasn’t just making songs anymore — i had vision. direction.

i’ve always been a late bloomer. then something finally clicked. i knew how i wanted the music to feel. i knew what i wanted to say. i started writing alone at home first , sitting with the concepts , letting them breathe & then bringing my notes and little freewrite into the room.

and with all those ideas, i kept saying two words over and over

LENNY KRAVITZ

oh and FLANGER.

but i meant it. i kept speaking it out loud.
i need lenny to hear this. i know he’s gonna dig it.

fast forward a year and some change…
now i’m dropping music and going on tour with him.

still don’t know why it took me so long to find my voice
but i’m really glad it happened the way it did.
