Last week to visit ‘Harit Srikhao: Cave Stories 0’!

We’re also excited to share that the exhibition’s accompanying artist book is now available to order via Antenne Books’ website (@antennebooks). Designed and published in collaboration with Bog Bodies Press (@bogbodiespress), the book offers another entry point into Srikhao’s work through writings, drawings, and photographs from the artist’s journey and research.

Find the link to order the book in our bio.

‘Harit Srikhao: Cave Stories 0’ is the first public iteration of an evolving body of work, shaped by a story Srikhao (@haritsrikhao) has held on to since 2018 and developed during his 2025 residency at YDP.

Drawing on local folktales and psychological studies, the exhibition invites visitors into an inner landscape woven from photography, moving image, drawing and puppetry.

Curated by YDP curator Jun Shen (@junjunbackwards).

Admission is free and open to all
Tuesday to Saturday, 11am–6pm

✨Meet the artists✨

’Encore’, the final chapter of our performance series ‘Living, Rehearsing…’, unfolds as a special evening of two live working sessions. Anchored by Tarek Atoui’s installations in a central room, the project brings together musicians based in the UK and France to explore sound as a shared process rather than a fixed composition.

This event at YDP provides a platform for Atoui to further explore performance as a space for research and exchange. Developed by the artist in dialogue with YDP, in anticipation of undertaking the Hyundai Commission in the Turbine Hall at Tate Modern (@tate), the programme reflects a shared commitment to supporting collaborative artistic processes as they unfold.

‘Encore’ features Shakeeb Abu Hamdan (@shakeeb.abu.hamdan), Tarek Atoui (@studiotarekatoui), Elvin Brandhi (@elvinbrandhi), Li-Chin Li (@lilichin1111), Sarah Ourahmane (@cldhoney), Pike (@pike00000), Shannon-Latoyah Simon (@shannonlatoyah) and Swilipino (@swilipino).

‘Living, Rehearsing…’ | Chapter 4: ‘Encore’

After three day-to-night performances from winter into spring, what arrives in May is not a conclusion, but another beginning. Conceived with artist Tarek Atoui, ’Living, Rehearsing…Encore’ unfolds as a special evening of two live working sessions. Anchored by Atoui’s installations in a central room, the project brings together musicians based in the UK and France to explore sound as a shared process rather than a fixed composition.

Across the evening, performers move between solo and collective modes, activating wind, water, electricity and rhythm. Shifting between their own instruments and Atoui’s evolving system of objects and sonic devices, the building becomes a space for exchange, experimentation, and unfolding.

This event at YDP provides a platform for Atoui to further explore performance as a space for research and exchange. Step into Harit Srikhao’s ‘Cave Stories 0’ with a walkthrough narrated by the exhibition’s curator Jun Shen.

This exhibition is the first public iteration of an evolving body of work, shaped by a story Srikhao (@haritsrikhao) has held on to since 2018 and developed during his recent residency at YDP. Drawing on local folktales and psychological studies, the exhibition invites visitors into an inner landscape woven from photography, moving image, drawing and puppetry.

‘Harit Srikhao: Cave Stories 0’ is on view at YDP until 23 May.

Admission is free and open to all
Tuesday to Saturday, 10am–6pm

Curated by YDP curator Jun Shen (@junjunbackwards).

Last Saturday, we slowed down with a Craftivism embroidery workshop led by Sarah P Corbett (@sarahpcorbett) in collaboration with YDP curator Erin Li (@erinmoving).

Together, we spent time with the exhibition ‘Harit Srikhao: Cave Stories 0’ through the process of hand embroidery, quiet reflection and conversation.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared the space so thoughtfully!

🍋How do everyday materials become scores for performances?

On the occasion of ‘Living, Rehearsing…’ at YDP and ‘Aki Sasamoto: Grilled Diagrams’ at Studio Voltaire @studiovoltairelondon, we are co-hosting a ‘show & tell’ to reflect on how material encounters shape different performance practices.

Artists and curators Aliaskar Abarkas (@aliaskar______abarkas), Eliel Jones (@elieljones), Aki Sasamoto, Sriwhana Spong (@sriwhana) and Zhuo Mengting (@timelessclock) will each share a story about an object that converged with their performance practice, followed by a group conversation moderated by YDP curator Erin Li (@erinmoving).

Grab your free ticket via the link in our bio!

📅 Friday 10 April
⏰ 18:30—20:00
📍 YDP, 19 Bedford Square, WC1B 3JA
