April 19th - The Bicycle Day
On this day, 82 years ago, in 1943, the Swiss scientist Albert Hofmann intentionally ingested the first ever dose (250 micrograms) of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) to understand the effects after previously feeling it three days prior when he touched it and it got absorbed into his skin. As he began to feel LSD’s effects, he tried to ride his bicycle home and experienced the first ever intentional LSD trip in history.
A couple of years later Sandoz started manufacturing LSD for research use only and provided it to qualified researchers.
For around 35 years LSD was administered for psychiatry applications, mental illness and also as a creativity enhancer for painters, writers and composers.
It then scape the labs and started being commercialised as a recreational drug and got banned by the governments.
For a long time, LSD has been related to spiritual growth, including stronger perceived connections with the divine, a greater sense of meaning, increased spiritual faith, increased engagement in religious and spiritual practices, an increase in feelings of unity and self-transcendence, positive changes in worldview, increased connectedness with others, and reduced fear of death.

Yaakov (Tiago Dallamaria), a Brazilian born artist based in Western Australia since 2008 who has been enjoying Trance music since early 2000's.
He first started playing professionally in 2020 in Perth and knew back then that his place was on stage behind the decks mixing and making our heart beats sync with the music.
Yaakov has been consistently playing progressive and psy trance in the biggest festivals in WA such as Blazing Swan, DS Events and Mad Hatterz Events.
He has also been devoting a lot of time around the world visiting the biggest psy trance festivals out there and always bringing the best tunes to our dance floor.
It is always set to be an unforgettable experience when he is behind the decks!
