When families are being torn apart. When cruelty, greed, corruption, racism, and dehumanization are being normalized in real time while politicians and media outlets treat human suffering like strategy and entertainment.
But there are still human beings refusing to look away from each other. I see the power of the people locking arms outside Delaney Hall and continuing to fight anyway, and that gives me so much hope.
