This week we have a very special #tbt
When the library moved out of the Carnegie building in January 1939, a more earnest effort started to establish a Museum.
Representatives from the Wenatchee Chamber of Commerce and the Columbia River Archaeological Society formed a Museum Committee on February 27.By March 1st, the committee selected the name North Central Washington Museum. The North Central Washington Museum’s official opening date of April 27, 1939, coincided with the events of the Apple Blossom Festival celebration.
On Saturday we're celebrating the next era of our Museum with a groundbreaking celebration that will begin renovation efforts to transform the Museum into a collective community asset that will be treasured for generations. Help us celebrate by joining us at the free, family-friendly event on Saturday, May 16 from 10:00-4:00.

As the Grand Marshals of the Apple Blossom Youth Parade, the Vitulli's we awarded $1000 from @larsongross1949to give to the nonprofit of their choosing. We were thrilled to learn that they chose to support Nick's Bricks! Two of our team members, Courtney and Shannon, were on hand to join the Vitulli's at the All-Service Club Luncheon to help celebrate.

Interested in taking home a piece of history?
As part of our Groundbreaking Celebration this Saturday, we're hosting a rummage sale where you can comb through selected Museum items for a piece of history. Entrance is $10.00 from 9-10:00, and complimentary after 10:00. Collection pieces are not included.
This Saturday is your last opportunity to visit the Museum before we close for our Branch Out renovation and transformation.
