Today, November 4th, Russia celebrates National Unity Day — a holiday that embodies the spirit of solidarity, mutual support, and a shared purpose! ⚡️

We feel this spirit in the KARDO team every day — in movement, in respect for different cultures, and in our drive to make our common cause even greater. We truly believe that the strength of our country lies in its diversity.

This energy lives within KARDO and resonates across every corner of the planet — because real unity is born from respect for individuality and faith in a shared mission 🌐

Today, we’ve received greetings from all over the world — from China to Mexico — and that’s the best proof that unity lives not only in words, but in people.
When we come together, there are no heights we cannot reach.

Thank you to everyone who stands with us.
Happy National Unity Day, Russia! 🇷🇺

We’re presenting a series about the people of KARDO. They live in different parts of the world, but share one thing — love for street culture.

➡️ Our first story is about Goga Babadzhanashvili (@goga_ezflw), a KARDO ambassador from the Kostroma region.

When he was a kid, Goga recorded music from MTV, listened to it over and over, and dreamed of learning how to dance. ✔️

Dreams come true: he visited New York — the home of hip-hop — and got so inspired that now he helps grow the movement in Russia.
Today, he teaches, brings top dancers to his city, creates his own clothing brand, and works with well-known athletes.

We turned his story into a video — go watch and support! ❤️
Tell us in the comments how your journey in street culture started.

Getting into street art is easier than it seems—with the TIME FOR ART virtual gallery! 🎨

A finalist of the «Russia — Land of Opportunities» award, known as Mityai Oblakov, is developing Russia’s first virtual street art gallery.

The project keeps growing: new rooms are opening, and recently a hall dedicated to KARDO [8] GRAFFITI winner ZEEG was added.

Today, the gallery features over 100 works by artists from across Russia, including Bursone Dobro, Dima Slash, Brain Mash, and many others—and the collection keeps expanding.

👉 To explore the world of street culture, visit timeforart.ru from an iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS device using a WebGL-supported browser—and take a virtual walk through the gallery.

The history of KARDO began in 2017 in Stavropol — as a local street culture festival. Today, it has grown into an international award, often called the “Oscars of the streets,” bringing together talents from 147 countries.

We were planning to share standout photos from last year’s Grand Finale to show the scale of the project and what Stavropol means to the community, but this video says it better.

Street culture is about self-expression. It’s about finding ways to express yourself in any situation — through sport, creativity, and dancing. And we’re proud that it brings people together.

What you see here might seem impossible: an ambassador from Kenya battling local kids. They found the courage, came up to him and seconds later: “Go, dance!”

They charged up with the energy of a professional dancer, and it’s so inspirational that opportunities like this happen in an ordinary Russian city.

KARDO opens the world to you and shows Russia to the world: 50+ countries, hundreds of top athletes (Olympic champions, world title holders), diplomats, and major brand partners — all in the heart of Stavropol.

Share your opinion — what moments from the 2025 Grand Finale impressed you the most? 💔

Stavropol will not host the KARDO Grand Finale in 2026.

An event like this needs a lot of preparation: infrastructure, safety, accommodation and logistics for participants and guests from different regions and countries.

This season, we were not able to secure a venue that meets all the required standards in time.
The KARDO team, together with our partners, is now looking for a new solution — a region and format that will allow us to keep the same scale and quality of the finale.

This takes time, so we are not announcing new dates or a new location until everything is fully confirmed.

What this means for you:
— there will be no Grand Finale in Stavropol in 2026;
— registration for the Grand Finale is not open yet;
— we will not make quick decisions if they affect the quality of the project;
— all updates will be shared only through official KARDO channels.

We are grateful to the Stavropol region and all partners who helped make previous finals happen. We also truly appreciate the support of participants, organizers and the community.

You are the reason we keep going.

The “Break Forever” trend is growing fast. More and more dancers are getting back on the floor and into battles.

Sergey Kirgintsev (aka Mr. Electric) is one of the people making it happen. He returned to dancing himself — and now he’s bringing together a global community, training crews, and building hip-hop culture in Omsk.

Today we talked about staying motivated, how this trend is shaping breaking, and the growing community of older dancers around the world.
// Thanks to @sergey_kirgintsev for sharing your story and personal contents.

⚡️KARDO is a social elevator for street talent in Russia.

While some people see ordinary guys on a neighborhood playground, KARDO sees the future — strong, brave, talented young people who start their journey in the streets and step onto the international stage.

➡️ This is what happened in the Stavropol region. Our ambassador Anton @anton_skater_rus noticed two guys training on a simple outdoor training ground. There were no professional conditions — only talent and the desire to move forward. Anton decided to help them develop their potential and show it on a new international level.

The result?
The guys not only passed the selection round and reached the final, but also took 9th and 10th places overall — a solid result for young athletes who had been training "just for themselves" not long ago.

And this is not a single story. Even now, Anton is noticing new guys from the streets who will soon compete on equal terms with experienced participants of the KARDO festival 🤙🏻
