This May 19–23, San Diego serves as the global capital of independent arts. The World Fringe Congress 2026 is the bi-annual gathering of Fringe festival leaders from across six continents, representing a unified network of cultural innovators.
Led by @worldfringe in partnership with @sdfringe, this summit is a critical forum for cultural diplomacy, designed to fuel local economies and launch new creative voices. By connecting delegates across borders to exchange ideas and spark collaboration, the Congress shapes the future of independent arts worldwide.
At a time of global division, this gathering stands as a powerful act of connection, affirming the cultural and economic impact of the Fringe movement on the world stage and our transborder region.
