Team Williams Gap showed up and showed out at the Round Hill 5K! A huge congratulations to our very own Caroline Sexton for taking 1st place in her gender category and leading the charge for Team Williams Gap! Cheers to an amazing morning in Round Hill — and to Caroline for bringing home the win!

Sunsets & Sips is almost here!

Starting next Friday, May 29th, we're staying open an hour later — until 8PM — every Friday through Labor Day, and we cannot wait to share these golden evenings with you. Come settle in on the pavilion or deck as the sun dips behind the Blue Ridge, glass in hand. Whether you're sipping through our latest whites, exploring a bold red, or cracking open a cold beer, Friday evenings at Williams Gap are meant to be savored slowly and shared with good company.

Grab a bite, pour a glass, and linger a little longer with the people who make this place feel like home. That's what Sunsets & Sips is all about — wine, community, and the kind of evening you don't want to end.

Every Friday | May 29 – Labor Day | Open until 8PM

We kindly ask that all guests wrap up their visit by 8PM, when our property closes for the evening — so come early, stay as long as you can, and let the sunset do the rest.

Our Sweet White Vermouth — Take a Bottle Home

Not a craft spirit — something even more interesting. Our Sweet White Vermouth starts with our estate-grown Vidal Blanc, infused with 18 herbs and botanicals, then fortified with our own Vidal Blanc brandy. The result is a lush, aromatic, gently sweet vermouth made right here at Williams Gap. And yes — bottles are available to take home.

Here's how to enjoy it and make sure you have some oranges on hand:
Cold & Neat | Pull it straight from the fridge and sip it like the fine aperitif it is. No fuss, no mixing required. Finish with an orange twist.
On the Rocks | A little ice opens up the botanicals beautifully. Finish with an orange twist.
Spring Spritzer | Mix equal parts Blanc de Blancs and Vermouth for a bright, floral, effervescent warm-weather sipper. Finish with an orange twist.
White Negroni | 1.5 oz gin, 1 oz Vermouth, 0.75 oz Suze Gentian Liqueur. Stir with ice and strain. Finish with an orange twist.
White Manhattan | 2 oz white whisky, 1 oz Vermouth, 2 dashes orange bitters. Stir with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Finish with an orange twist.
El Presidente | 1.5 oz white rum, 0.75 oz Vermouth, 0.5 oz orange liqueur, dash of grenadine. Shake with ice and strain. Finish with an orange twist.

A quick note on storage: Once opened, keep your Vermouth in the refrigerator and enjoy within 4–8 weeks. At just 17 oz per bottle, we don't think that'll be a problem.

Bottles are available in the tasting room — ask your server to grab one on your way out.

Janelle creates custom, hand-crafted toffee and pairing it with wine isn't just something she does, it's her passion. That passion shows in every single piece. The flavors, the care, the craft - it all comes through in a way that genuinely stopped our team in their tracks when we tasted through the lineup together. Both festivals bring together inclusive, ally wineries, live drag performances, food, and a community that knows how to celebrate. While Proudly Poured also features a drag brunch, Sip With Pride also features an LGBTQ+ artist market with original works available to browse and buy. It is going to be an absolutely unforgettable month.

While we've paused table service upstairs in the tasting room for the season, you're always welcome to grab a glass and settle in up there Thursday through Monday at your own pace.
