Lyricist Howard Ashman and Composer Alan Menken are responsible for penning iconic scores of 1986's 'Little Shop of Horrors' and Disney's mega-hit from 1989 'The Little Mermaid', and if you listen closely, there is a eerie similarity between their "I Want" songs. 'Somewhere That's Green' and 'Part of Your World' scan very, VERY much like the same song, from the hook to the subject matter, and even to some of the staging we see in the films!
