From first travels to Puerto Rico, to commute adventures a plenty; my travel log never fails to fill up in its own unique way.
Little by little, I have been trying my best to broaden my musical horizons.
Obstacles have been embraced and overcome. Therapy has therapied for what could not, and has finally healed me from some terrible memories.

Today marks my 10th year as a freelance musician in New York City. 10 years of mainly playing and little else. I’m happy and proud to have enjoyed an extremely diverse musical adventure in this first decade. I’ve played with Salsa bands, orthodox Jewish weddings, brass bands, cyphers, indie songwriters, video game music, and beyond. Finally teaching now and then thanks to some wonderful people having encouraged me despite my shortcomings in speaking. Professionally my life has flourished modestly but fruitfully. From all of these experiences I have made some wonderfully endearing relationships. Perhaps more-so has my personal journey flourished while living here. I made lasting friendships with musicians, neighbors, roommates. I fell in love for the first time in my life. I acquired a new level of respect for myself, and the courage to let go of what’s not meant for me. Perhaps the brightest success is that I’ve all but conquered the stutter that for the first 3 decades of my life kept me so socially withdrawn.

For years playing was all I thought was possible for me, and to survive here made for some traumatic moments. I acquired a new level of respect for myself, and the courage to let go of what’s not meant for me. Perhaps the brightest success is that I’ve all but conquered the stutter that for the first 3 decades of my life kept me so socially withdrawn.
