They Might Be Giants @tmbgofficial have a three-day Brooklyn Steel @brooklynsteel residency from May 28-30, but prior to their current tour supporting their latest album, 'The World Is to Dig,' the band played an FUV Live concert at The Sheen Center @sheencenter . Teen Idle’s recent "NY Slice" session was a homecoming — the band's Sara Abdelbarry was writing songs while a student at Fordham University @fordhamuniversity.

Not only did New Jersey's Abdelbarry and her bandmates — James Sleeman, Cory Seyler, Sara Wojcienhowski, and Nicky Adem — perform "Infinite Sea" and "The Sound" from Teenage Idle's recently released 'A Heart So Tender,' but Sara took the "NY Slice" pop quiz — and talked about 🎶and 🍕.

Being "in service to the music" leans into the spiritual for Latin Grammy-winning Mexican singer and songwriter Silvana Estrada @silvanaestradab, who grew up influenced by the innate power of the guitar 🎸 — luthiers loomed large in her familial background.
