A touching moment in Milton where a teen delivered her dad's speech at the Memorial Day ceremony while he watched from his deployment overseas.
“It means so much to me. I’ve watched my dad do it my whole life. I’m a little jealous that he gets to speak in front of crowds,” Brooke Adams said.

Wettest Memorial Day in OVER A CENTURY🌧️
The bulk of the rain is now past Burlington, and we've recorded 0.93" of rainfall just since midnight. While this is not the wettest Memorial Day on record, it is the wettest in more than a hundred years!
The wettest Memorial Day was in 1916 with 1.6" of rain and since then we haven't seen this much rain on Memorial Day. This makes today the wettest Memorial Day in 110 years! And the second half of the day today will actually be dry with a good amount of sunshine.

Umbrellas required this morning, then sunglasses this afternoon!☔😎
Plan for Memorial Day parades or ceremonies early this morning to be wet! But by mid to late morning, it's going to be drying out. The clouds will clear through the afternoon leaving us with plenty of sunshine by late afternoon.

A wet start to Memorial Day, but sunshine returns through the afternoon!🌦️
We'll hold onto rain showers through the early morning hours so if you are going to an early morning parade or ceremony, grab a rain jacket! But the sunshine returns in time for any afternoon barbecues!
