Tarsiers!!

Working on this to distract my mind from birds a bit.
Some fun facts that they are Noctural primates with eyes larger then there brain. They have named for their elongated ankle bones, called tarsals. They also have long hind limbs and specialized digits for clinging to vertical surfaces. Also there size is between 9 to 16cm!
I have followed the references for the anatomy for primates because as a core they are plus some artistic liberty to imagine with there measurements.

Work in progress following to my previous post on the Houdini feathers. swipe 👈 for more previews

I did some minor and major fixes on feather arrangement and silhoutte before the lookdev pass. Still needs little bit of finness based on my liking, probably will add a fur pass underneath to cover the empty areas. The documation online is non existant in terms of feather lookdev with Houdini feathers and karma.

So far I have came up with these results and looks promising already with the iredescence look. Haven’t worked on skin displacement yet.

A sneak peak of my upcoming project doing in free time.

Originally the feather work on the Kingfisher started in Godfeather which was made by @fabio_ghibli

After Houdini20 release, I have re-done the entire feather grooming with Houdini feathers, tackled most of the challenges and a lot of crashes, Its 70% done then after next stage would be look dev for this beautiful bird! :)
