Karmakamet is well known by its aromatic products, i.e candles, soaps, incense. Conveying the sense of scent through visual was pretty challenging.

We shot primarily at the second floor of Karmakamet Cafe in the middle of Bangkok, no elevator, with very minimal package packages over 2 days for multiple videos for multiple formats, this is just one of them.

It was my first time with Sony Burano from @sonythai @sonycine I was so impressed how it handle low light really well, and its variable ND changed everything.

The idea of the film based on the songs on the album, each song was a continuous long take following one character throughout the album.

Initially you can listen to the album and see this film as if you see The Birdman by Alejandro Iñárritu, but because of the logistical factor of each location, it got split in to a long take each song instead.

It was so challenging to design the movements, find the right time to shoot, and the ergonomically of the camera.

Because of the long take, I decided to have the ability to move to get the right angle and because we were mostly inside an apartment there is no chance we can hide light and doesn’t feel like lighting. So the lighting came from figure out when to shoot each song in the day. The full setup of the camera has to be light enough to be held for 4 to almost 7 mins depending on the length of the song. First AC was pulling focus on his handheld 7” monitor behind the camera, the vdo village was wireless.

The album has 11 songs, we shot all these in 2 days.

The idea of the film based on the songs on the album, each song was a continuous long take following one character throughout the album.

Initially you can listen to the album and see this film as if you see The Birdman by Alejandro Iñárritu, but because of the logistical factor of each location, it got split in to a long take each song instead.

It was so challenging to design the movements, find the right time to shoot, and the ergonomically of the camera.

Because of the long take, I decided to have the ability to move to get the right angle and because we were mostly inside an apartment there is no chance we can hide light and doesn’t feel like lighting. So the lighting came from figure out when to shoot each song in the day. The full setup of the camera has to be light enough to be held for 4 to almost 7 mins depending on the length of the song. First AC was pulling focus on his handheld 7” monitor behind the camera, the vdo village was wireless.

The album has 11 songs, we shot all these in 2 days.

Real estate commercial I shot back in 2022

‘The Reserve’ project is an ultra luxurious condominium in the heart of Bangkok. Trying to capture the beauty of this project was quite challenging as we shot on the real building, everything needed to be meticulously handled. We tried to have as small footprints as possible, the lighting was simplified to the least we could use as the real unit, no matter how big it was it wouldn’t be enough for our equipment, talent, crews, and clients.

Looking back at it, I think I could have done it better in many parts. Though, with those limitations we encountered, this is good enough for one day shoot.

And that’s the origin of this campaign, they picked the most extraordinary people from every country around the world, and Krissada Sukosol Clapp is the one they chose from Thailand.

His career as an artist vastly spreads from music to theatre and to film. He was one of my favorite artists when I was teenager, who could believe that one day in 2022 I was behind the camera and captured his talented.

My journey started from Photography, I was a self-taught photographer. Back then I bought a photography book wrote by my home town photographer, he was an upcoming photographer who shot many big campaign for biggest shopping mall chain and many fashion magazines, I learned to shoot photography from his book. I met him for my first time on this shoot, he was a director and I was a DP who admired him for what he did. @tamm.pasin you’re like a brother to me. Malton Gates is an ultra-luxury detached house / villa residential project in Bangkok, developed by Major Development.

This commercial highlights the project’s core design philosophy, capturing the essence of life lived behind the gate.

Directed by my beloved brother @tamm.pasin who is right now one of the best Alfa Romeo mechanic in Thailand. Check out his garage at @veloce.garage, and his works at @velocefilms !

Every angle we meticulously shot at the right time of day as we scheduled everything according to sun path to get the magic from natural light as much as possible. There were times that we had to wait for the cloud to pass to get the continuous look, a very common problem in Thailand, sometimes we cheated the closeup with my beloved 18K instead of waiting.

Nothing beats mother sunlight and Arri 18kMax, with the support from @gearheadthailand for Camera and G&E, wonderful team as always!

Shot this on 2020 when we just recovered from Covid-19 in Thailand, I was fortunate enough to be hired by @888creations in that tough time, thank you all!

We had only one day, and I think the curfew started at 10pm, to finish all of these(6 small scenes) in time. Thanks to my crews for supporting me so we finished everything on time!

Throw back one of my favorite work,

E-Sport Commercial was my bread and butter when I was in Thailand. Especially around April when FREEFIRE, a first person shooting game, hosted a world series around South East Asia. This is one of those works that I had done, almost every year.
