A new tech that can “teach” your hands 🤖

MIT students built an experimental wearable called “Human Operator” that helps users perform physical movements by combining AI, computer vision, voice input, and gentle electrical signals delivered through electrodes on the fingers and wrist.

The system works in three steps: Claude AI interprets the instructions, a camera reads the user’s actions, and then small electrical pulses guide the motion through the skin. In early tests, it helped users play piano notes, wave, and form simple gestures. A glimpse of how AI could one day support physical learning and therapy, and accessibility by directly assisting movement, instead of just giving instructions.

CycloTech is developing CycloRotor, a new propulsion system that can push flying vehicles in any direction without needing to turn or tilt the aircraft.

The CycloRotor uses rotating blades that constantly adjust during flight, helping aircraft hover more precisely, react faster, and maneuver in ways traditional engines cannot.
