This year I’ve decided to keep my daily hobonichi journal more abstract and present 🌀 and I am really happy with it so far! I simply try to capture the mood I’m in through colours and shapes.. without overthinking it - whatever comes out, comes out .. and I’m in peace with it! I actually find it so inspiring looking back though these pages 😌✨ keeping daily art journal is one of the most beautiful rituals I know 💛

I think that sometimes all we need is already inside us.. I’m talking about your creative spirit! ✨💛 same like any kind of therapy, when you start making art as a form if understanding your feelings, it might feel hard at first, but I promise you that the more you concentrate on the enjoyment, rather than outcome, the more you will gain from the process 🌀 that’s how I have it anyway- of course we are all different, and everyone needs something else, so pls don’t hate me for my preference of art over the traditional therapy methods 🩵
