Hello! I thought it was time to reintroduce myself; my name is Vanee (vá-NĒĒ).

Throughout the pandemic, I rediscovered my love for drawing as a means to ground myself, stay present, and experience joy. Nature serves as a profound inspiration for me, and I often find solace and well-being through outdoor adventures. I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to pursue drawing as a profession. While I am still in the process of building my business to a sustainable level, I am dedicated and giving it my all!

As an aspiring licensing artist, I am actively expanding my surface pattern design portfolio while also undertaking custom projects for clients and businesses. I sell prints and stationery both online and in stores.

Currently residing in Colorado, just outside Boulder, with my three teenage sons, I find enjoyment in dancing at my local studio, creating music, and outdoor activities like hiking and rock climbing.

Five years of Vanee.Ink 🖤

Some years feel like momentum. This one felt more like endurance.

I’ve wrestled with fear, doubt, and that whisper that maybe I’ve failed. But I’ve also had the privilege of helping bring others’ visions to life through custom work, growing connections with kind and talented shop owners, and pushing my work further into the world through wholesale and product development.

This past year I took @prooftoproduct wholesale class, and just recently started training in fine line tattooing @chloejanetattoos — a new way to let my hands do what they love most: draw with intention, permanence, and care.

So here’s to the messy middle — to still being here, still making, still curious after five years.
