This month show explores the emotional maximalism of trance music.

Since a few years, trance arpeggios and their nostalgic affective brutalism have become the backbone of a new kind of introspective electronic music for the @ generation.

In clubbing history, trance music represents the ultimate stage of commodification of the dance floor utopia. A climax before the breakdown, a synthetic week end escapism, the last bit of freedom and togetherness available in a neoliberal control society.

Beyond the pastiche, trance innocence and candour gave rise to an authentic form of self expression, an intimate sub genre of ambient music that uses trance emotional tuning ability and epicness in order to feel bigger and deeper together.
