Every year with good snowfall, thousands gather in February to watch Firefall, an event in Yosemite National Park where Horsetail Falls glows bright orange from sunlight from the tail end of the sunset for about two weeks of the year. With all the snowpack from the atmospheric river which swept through California earlier this year, Horsetail Falls, a seasonal waterfall, was running strong which allowed me to capture this beautiful moment mother nature has blessed us with for the very first time.

The other day, I took a trip across a country to witness an event that only happens twice a year called Manhattanhenge where the sun sets at the end of the East to West streets in Manhattan. I camped out for 6 hours just to get a spot to place my tripod to capture this image and I’m quite happy with the result!
