Two weeks ago, we discovered Mellow has a tumor. It's been incredibly tough since he's more than just a pet – he's my therapy dog, emotional support pup, and best friend. It is with a heavy heart that I share that our queen, Catnis Everbean Woods, passed away on March 30th at 5:42 pm. Catnis was my first baby kitty I adopted when I was fresh out of college and 22. I want to remember her by her ferocious spirit, the first one to explore outside of her litter, the alpha in both her litter and at home, hitting, hissing, attacking, and reminding everyone who was boss. She taught me boundaries, to take NO shit, love so deeply, enjoy every moment of the sun, escape for fun, yell if you don’t like something, and that you can ALWAYS be MORE ✨extra✨

She was my familiar, soul cat, apple of my eye and is in my heart furever. In lieu of “I’m so sorry for your loss” please give your kitty or friend’s kitty a big hug. Catnis WOULD NOT STAND for sympathy or tears- she would think it would be pity.

The most beautiful memorial tattoos were made by @littleanniemotel who made me cry when I saw Catnis’ portrait. Thank you so much 💓✨
