As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, today is Wear It Green Day - a time to come together and remember the importance of looking after our mental health every day.

To mark the occasion, our drama group in Nottingham went green with their clothes and green ribbons to help raise awareness and show their support 💚 Check out this fun photo of them!

Today is International Nurses Day, so we’re sharing the stories of three incredible members of our nursing team: Alison, Michele and Sophie.

We recently spoke with them about the realities of social care nursing, the importance of advocacy and wellbeing, and the dedication they bring to their roles every day.

We’re delighted that our work in partnership with Resonance Limited’s Supported Homes Fund has been highly commended in the Inclusivity Award of the Year at the 2026 RESI Awards. 🏆

This recognition is for the transformation of a vacant former nightclub in Mansfield into eight much-needed supported homes for people with learning disabilities and autistic people, alongside two community spaces and a regional hub for United Response.

This project represents a major milestone in creating inclusive, safe and sustainable housing, and is a powerful example of how social investment can support people who often face barriers to independent living, while also contributing to the regeneration of local communities.

Representing the partnership at the awards ceremony were: Ben Harrison, Senior Consultant from Resonance and Leonie Earnshaw, Housing Business Manager from United Response. Also joining the table was: Danyal Sattar OBE, Managing Director of Impact Labs from Resonance, James Neward, Chief Operating Officer from YorSpace and Ben Pritchett Brown, Executive Coach

It was a great evening with great people, celebrating some fantastic work across the sector.

We’ve loved seeing photos of people heading out to polling stations today and making their voices heard in the local elections!

Our research found that nearly 1 in 5 people in the UK didn’t know that people with a learning disability have a legal right to vote, which is why raising awareness around voting rights is so important.

If you’ve been out to vote today, share your photos with us in the comments! And if you've not gotten to the polling station yet, don't worry - you still have until 10pm today.

For more information on voting rights, polling station support, and resources, visit My Vote My Voice here: https://www.myvotemyvoice.org.uk/how-politics-works/2026-elections/

Spring has well and truly arrived at Boscawen Farm 🌱

With warmer weather finally here, the people we support have been busy planting a spectacular range of flowers, fruits and vegetables across our gardens, polytunnels and freshly dug vegetable patch.

From coriander, spring onions and tomatoes to garlic and squashes, there’s plenty growing already this season.

Take a look at some of the stars of the garden so far, including Chinese cabbage and sweet pea obelisks!

We’re delighted that one of our properties, The Old Eight Bells in Mansfield, has been shortlisted at the Insider Media Midlands Residential Property Awards.

This recognition highlights a truly collaborative project, delivered with social investment from Resonance Limited’s Supported Homes Fund, transforming a vacant former nightclub into eight supported homes for people with learning disabilities and autistic people, alongside community spaces and a regional hub for United Response.

It’s a powerful example of how the right housing and support can enable people to live more independently and be part of their local community.

We’re so proud of this award nomination and wish all finalists the best of luck.

Our Big Lives plan is built around six key goals that shape everything we do — with high-quality support at the heart of it.

This means every person we support will receive person-centred care that is safe, consistent and of the highest standard across all United Response services.

Hear from Matthew Hill, Head of Audit and Risk, as he shares how we’re making this a reality.

Our tenants from Beach Road and Limmer Lane love coming together for social events - from parties to local outings. And recently, they decided to plan something extra special: a shared holiday to Disneyland in Paris!

A lot of planning and support went into making the trip happen, but it was all worth it and they had an amazing time creating memories together.

Take a look at this photo from their trip 🎉
