A message from our founder @daniache1Earlier this week Ukraine TrustChain 🇺🇦 sent it’s $10,000,000th (7 zeros) dollar to Ukrainian volunteers. These resources so far supported:
🚌 62,000 evacuations
📦 Distribution of 462,000 aid packages
🚛 Delivery of 14,000 tons of aid, water and firewood

All of this work is done by regular people in Ukraine who stepped up to counter the wild injustice of this war. But that’s in Ukraine.

Today, I feel especially grateful to 25 of my friends in the US, who continue to work on this every day, on top of our day jobs and family obligations. Thanks to you, UTC still operates without any administrative expenses, making it one of the most efficient organizations in this space.

Also, I remain in complete awe of the generosity of Americans and Europeans who still choose to support Ukraine and seek out ways of doing so. It’s an honor to be part of this effort, whatever the future has in store for us.

1,540 meals were served in the Kharkiv soup kitchen this week. As the enemy continues to target civilian infrastructure, there is a continued demand for humanitarian aid for the vulnerable families fleeing the destruction. Thank you for your support 🙏 🍲

Another Ukrainian family was reunited thanks to the evacuation efforts of our Dobra Sprava team. Most of the refugees are coming from Mykolaivka now, where the situation is getting more dangerous by the day. Altogether, the team managed to evacuate 49 people over the past week, mostly the elderly who have held out the longest in these hot frontline communities. 🚐 #StandWithUkraine #ukrainetrustchain #humanitarianaid

Friends Day was organized by volunteer Grigoriy and his team last weekend in the town of Talne, Ukraine. It brought together 120 war-affected children and their families for a day full of crafts, singing, and a shared prayer for Ukraine before ending the day together over a warm meal.

Transportation was organized for children traveling from nearby villages and settlements who otherwise would not have been able to attend. As warmer weather arrives, participation in these types of initiatives continues to grow, reflecting both the need for these gatherings for children affected by the war. 🧒♥️ #StandWithUkraine #ukrainetrustchain #childrenofUkraine

This week, another 150 food kits reached the elderly and people with disabilities in Eastern Ukraine. Marina and her team continue to focus their volunteer efforts on helping the most vulnerable people in these frontline communities. Another person was evacuated from the frontline town of Kramatorsk to a less dangerous one. Since the start of the new year, our teams have evacuated 558 people who are fleeing the destruction coming from the east. Many try to pay for this service, but Vitaliy reminds them that Ukraine TrustChain has a humanitarian mission. This time, the passenger decided to share a gift with Vitaliy. Ukrainian Easter bread, or paska, is a traditional holiday bread made with a potato-based starter, milk, eggs, and raisins.
