May comes lightly, a door left open, where days may soften and hearts may stay kind.
A small word may heal, a quiet act may matter, and hope may rise where we choose to begin.
So let this May be both promise and possibility, not just what is, but all that may be.

Travel Memories
I was vacationing at a hill plantation in Kerala in 2012 when we were offered an elephant ride from the villa where we were staying. It was my first opportunity to be up close with this gentle giant. Instead of riding the animal, I chose to walk alongside it. I didn’t feel it was right to sit on its back.
We spent a lovely afternoon strolling with the caretaker, eventually bathing the elephant in a nearby stream.

Back in 2014, I had the opportunity to spend a week in Srinagar, Kashmir during the beautiful celebrations of Eid Mubarak. The city felt alive in a way that was both vibrant and deeply serene, where the echoes of prayer blended with the gentle rhythm of daily life. From the bustling streets filled with festive energy to the quiet moments by the lake, every corner of Srinagar seemed to carry a sense of warmth, tradition, and togetherness. It was more than just a trip, it was an experience that offered a glimpse into the heart and soul of Kashmir, one that I continue to cherish to this day.
