Terry Hall sound checking at Coventry Cathedral 9th July 2019 with The Specials. I was forewarned he might not be the *most* enthusiastic at the prospect of being shadowed by a photographer all day but after some initial sighing and grumbling which I fondly remember feeling quite forced on his part (I caught a little smile once or twice while he tried to explain to me how unnecessary all this really was) in the end he was just lovely, we had laugh and I feel I got some good photos that day. But this photo I love. For a moment the furrowed brow lifted and he just looked really fucking happy. Much love to Terry’s family, friends and bandmates.
