Solo day with all 3 while @sunnykayyy held it down at work.
Kids made their own breakfast, cleaned up, caught some butterflies 🦋👉🏻👌🏻🤣and we finished it off at the beach.

#Facebookmemories 10 years ago as a brown belt at PANS, I pulled the World Champ first round.
This year tested me in a whole different way—Rolando Samson in Seattle, then John Combs at NoGi Worlds and Enders Barbosa Worlds, all first round fights. Working a full time job 7am-5pm (cycle city)using all 2week of vacation to chase the major comps.
Almost broke me… but didn’t. Still here. Still showing up.

No school today… wasn’t sure what to do with the kids. Took Lucian for a walk and Jack found a stick that looked like a fishing pole… obviously a sign 🤔🎣
Took them across from my parents house where I grew up fishing, Kids caught 9 fish in 45 minutes 🙌🏼🙌🏼 and YES Jack used his stick to fish #westsideliven #westsideisthebestside

Taking a look at a take down from a 2-on-1 grip break. Cross grip the same side collar and sleeve, drop in to the top of your opponent's triangle and pull down hard!
Send across your back and straight to the mat!

Working on setting up our grips and pulling our opponent off balance. We want them leaning forward and our feet positioned at the Top of The Triangle! This gives us the best chance to attack in any direction!
