Next, fuck the doctors who tried to gaslight me, telling me it was “just a cold” or “just the flu” “Let’s wait a few weeks before prescribing antibiotics” Then weeks later, “Okay, here are some antibiotics now let’s wait 30 days before approving an MRI” Then it turned into, “Oh… I guess you need a biopsy, but we can’t get that approved because it’s Christmas break”

No shit, Sherlock!!! if my lymph nodes have been swollen and I’ve had repeated night sweats for three months, I obviously needed a fucking biopsy!!

I literally had to switch insurance companies just to get actual treatment. And the truth is, I would not be here if it wasn’t for Kaiser!

So thank you to Kaiser and to every doctor, nurse, and staff member there who listened to me, took me seriously, and fought for me. You saved my life
