We will be giving a presentation for the Society for Commercial Architecture, SCA tomorrow evening, Wednesday at 5 PM Pacific, 8PM Eastern. We will be discussing how our project started and describing our adventure to open Light Circus Neon Museum in downtown Reno. I think it will be a fun talk with lots of photos of neon. The cast has started to arrive at the museum! We are working nonstop to get all the amazing signs ready to dazzle our guests. It has been great getting to see old friends that had been tucked away for far too long. The museum has been painted, great carpet has been installed, fixtures assembled and plans in motion with the City for the gallery walls. There is a ton of work left to do but we are working every day to bring the wonder to the Light Circus. We will post more progress shots soon.

A very genuine honor to have Best Bet Motor Lodge @bestbetmotorlodge as a Light Circus sponsor! This wonderful boutique motel in Midtown Reno is an excellent example of adaptive re-use and reinvention. They embraced the historically significant architectural and design elements and added beautiful modern flair. Oh, and they also have a wonderful neon sign that was lovingly restored. Thank you Piper and Chris!

This is the first sign we ever saved! This lady started the whole neon dream! 🏊‍♀️

We love Reno very much, warts and all! We are excited to help bring the light back downtown. There are some really great things happening in The Biggest Little City and we are thrilled to be part of the club!

We miss the Deux so much but we are excited to share some of that neon java when The Light Circus opens next year! I promise we will have the missing steam when we open Tim. :)
