Every month The Lactic Factory gets torn down and reborn.

The walls go bare, the drills come out, and setters from across Australia and beyond drop in to build something new.

Tucked away in Abbotsford, this small, steep, and spicy little gym has tested climbers since 2006.

As Melbourne’s first bouldering gym, Lactic holds a special place in Australian climbing history and we’re proud to keep this dusty, chalk-stained time capsule alive.
