The Community Project
Building Communities Through Creativity

Weโre constantly drawn to work that pushes us into new environments and new ways of thinking.โ
โ
Different industries, different perspectives, different challenges, each one shaping how we approach the work and how we create within it. Itโs in those shifts that we find new ideas, new processes, and new ways to tell a story.โ
โ
Always evolving. Always learning. That's the Community Project way. โ
โ
Exciting things in the works. ๐

Sharing a few selects from our @Rossignol shoot last winter. โ๏ธโ
โ
One of the things we loved most about this shoot was the way light played across every setting. Through contrast and shadow, and in the way it caught the snow in motion, each frame took on a slightly different feel. Every moment offered its own way to capture the subject and shape the story. And of course, getting to do this work in places like this is something weโre always grateful for.โจ๏ธ

A few selects from a recent project with @Carhartt, as seen through the lens of our co-founder, creative director, and photographer @ScottMarkewitz.โ
โ
These were the moments that stood out most. Shots in which the models are actively working tend to feel the most authentic, even in a staged environment. When people are engaged in what theyโre doing, thereโs a natural ease that comes through on camera.โ
โ
Itโs a subtle shift, but one that makes a meaningful difference in how a story is told.

Weโve been thinking a lot about where the best ideas actually come from lately.โ
โ
More often than not, itโs not sitting behind a desk. Itโs getting outside, exploring, being around good people, and doing the things that inspire you in the first place.โ
โ
Weekends arenโt just a break from the work week; theyโre where a lot of the creativity starts.โ
โ
As we head into summer, weโre leaning into that a bit more. Getting out, creating, and seeing where it takes us. ๐๏ธ

Weโre heading to Sea Otter this week and are stoked to connect with friends old and new. ๐ต๐ฝโ
โ
If youโll be there and are interested in chatting or exploring ways to create something together, send us a DM. Weโd love to meet up.โ
See you there!

Our portfolio is more than a highlight reel. ๐ซโ

@jacobneiwert represents everything we value in action sports. Rooted in Utahโs freeride scene, his approach blends relentless riding, filmmaking, and hands-on building to push the sport forward. Each year, Jacob produces a full-length freestyle film that captures not just the riding, but the people, places, and work behind it all. Proud to have him as part of our community. Follow along as his journey continues!

One of our favorite ways to find fresh ideas is to simply step away for a moment. Creativity needs space to breathe, and new perspective often comes from slowing down and reconnecting with the world around you. In the middle of busy weeks, taking that pause and getting some fresh air can make all the difference. ๐โ

Creative work is always evolving, and so are the stories behind it. At The Community Project, our current work reflects the brands, athletes, and communities we collaborate with every day. From concept to execution, each project is built with intention, imagination, and a deep respect for the people it represents. Creativity does not live in one place. It shows up in unexpected colors, quiet details, movement, texture, and the moments we almost pass by. These frames from a project with @tjeisenhart and the @imaginary_collective are a reminder that inspiration is everywhere if you slow down enough to notice it. Art is not just something you make. It is something you observe, absorb, and let shape the way you see the world. ๐งจโ
