Deus Ex Machina (@deusexmachina) has been more than just an apparel brand since its inception in Sydney Australia in 2006 it has embodied a free spirited lifestyle itself.
Founded on Dare Jennings’ long held passions the brand intersects the three domains of motorcycling surfing and art establishing consistent authenticity as its core value.

Deus‘s identity is entirely concentrated within its locations around the globe which they call the ’Temples of Enthusiasm.‘ These spaces are integrated cultural hubs blending a bike workshop a surf shaping bay a gallery and a cafe. Visitors experience the Deus worldview with all their senses becoming not mere consumers but active members of this vast global community.

(The Seongsu Temple is the most recent one, established in one of the hottest areas of Seoul, South Korea.

I remember the custom flat tracker bike equipped with a surfboard mount by Deus Ex Machina that I saw in my early twenties, The traditionally masculine biker stuff already looked incredibly cool, but Deus’s Testo-down, neutral and refreshing bikes and clothing felt strikingly new to me.
