Yafa è un archivio di ricordi della mia nonna, ho voluto mettere i suoi racconti in una canzone così che rimanga nel tempo l’impronta delle nostre radici, che sono state strappate con forza e cattiveria. Oggi la Nakba non è finita e noi non smettiamo di resistere
Yafa is an archive of my grandmother’s memories.
I turned her stories into a song so the trace of our roots, that were torn away from their land with violence and cruelty, could stay alive through time.
Nakba is not over, and we never stop resisting.
