By reframing letterform generation as a system shaped by time, materiality and cultural context, Sundial System offers a new ethical and aesthetic paradigm for typeface making.
On display at the RCA2025 end of year show a month ago, this hand carved limestone specimen is part of the intrinsic physical aspect of the program. It showcases my new typeface Tempus Fugit, designed upon the physicality of the traditional hand carved Trajan lettering.
