To nye finalister er klare i Postens Bandkonkurranse 🎸

Over 400 band meldte seg på årets konkurranse, et tydelig bevis på at norsk rock og metal lever i beste velgående. Denne uka presenterer vi de 10 finalistene som skal kjempe om den siste plassen på Tons of Rock 2026.

Dagens finalister er:

☕️ RAMONA'S TEA PARTY
Tønsberg-bandet Ramona's Tea Party kombinerer poprock, punkrøtter og indieinspirasjon i et uttrykk som har gjort dem til et stadig mer omtalt navn på den norske livescenen. Blant inspirasjonskildene finner vi blant annet Green Day, boygenius og Blondie. Er du ute etter noe gøy som gir masse energi er dette teselskapet for deg!

🌞 SUNCRAFT
Oslo-bandet Suncraft høres både ut som stonerrock, punk, og klassisk scandirock, pakket inn i tunge fuzzgitarer og svære deilige riff. Resultatet er hardtslående og ryktene sier at dette er et band man burde følge med på!

Finalistene ble presentert tidligere i dag på Radio Rock, hvor både bandene og juryen fikk dele sine tanker om veien videre i konkurransen.

🗳️ Avstemningen åpner først når alle finalistene er presentert fredag ettermiddag. Da er det dere som avgjør hvem som får den siste plassen på Tons of Rock 2026.

Suncraft leverer hardtslående rock med røtter i stoner, men henter også inspirasjon fra garasjerock, svartmetall og post-rock. Resultatet er et tungt og energisk lydbilde som virkelig treffer live.

Etter debutalbumet Flat Earth Rider (2021) er de nå tilbake med oppfølgeren Welcome to the Coven – en sjangerfest med høyere tempo og enda mer trøkk, produsert av Ruben Willem (Kvelertak, The Good The Bad and The Zugly).

Bandet startet på Trøndertun i 2017 og har siden spilt blant annet by:Larm og Desertfest, samt turnert med Slomosa. Selv om de nå holder til i Oslo, har de fortsatt sterk tilknytning til Trondheim 🤘
