Before we go, I just wanted to take a moment to thank @marahoffman and her incredible team for opening their doors to artists and believing in Studio Archive Project. I am profoundly grateful to have had the chance to collaborate on 6 beautiful shows with so many incredible artists. Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful space that, like you Mara, is warm, stunning and light filled. I have been so inspired by what you do and the grace with which you do it. Thank you for inviting us in, this has been so fun.❤️
Beautiful and compelling work by Kimia Ferdowsi Kline (@alkeemi ) on view @marahoffman through Sunday, June 25
183 Lafayette Street, NYC

Thank you all so much for your support of Studio Archive Project over the last two years. I am deeply grateful for the artists that believed in the idea and for you, the subscribers and collectors, that trusted and supported us along the way.
For these reasons, I’m sad to announce that we will be pausing the site for the foreseeable future on June 25.
Rather than give a vague reason why, I wanted to disclose that in March I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I hope it’s a prompt for others to stay on top of health screenings. I will be okay but need to prioritize my medical care and my family for the time being.
I am deeply grateful for the artists who gave me their trust, and for you, the subscribers and collectors for your love of art and support of the art community.
Thank you so much.
❤️
Lisha

Repost @erichibit ✨👏👏 “Sprouting Branch” is currently on view in THE SPONTANEOUS GARDEN - my solo at @hexumgallery in Montpelier, VT. “Sprouting Branch” was made in response to the scale of the wall upon which it hangs; the wide horizontal is a new format for me and it offered exciting opportunities for the composition! Springtime itself was the inspiration for this painting; springtime with all its new sprouts and possibilities and life 💧🌱💧🌱

“Dreaming of the Chamomiles” by @karen_azoulay featured in “Beautiful Night”, curated by @jude.broughan. Karen Azoulay has a fascination with floral symbolism and secret messages are often embedded in her work. Inspired by “feminine” motifs, Azoulay explores cultural phenomena that have historically been overlooked with the purpose of recontextualizing and championing them 🌼💤🌒

"Drawing in the Dark" by @jesswillawheaton featured in “Beautiful Night”, curated by @jude.broughan. Jess is concerned with combining disparate found images in radically unified ways, through a slow and complex process of physical observation and adjustment - in deep contrast to our widely shared experience of viewing images in rapid succession on screens 💻🖥🎮📲

Two photographs by @john_lehr featured in our current Beautiful Night exhibition. John’s photographs, from the series Low Relief depict the skin of the city; surfaces and facades that have been transformed by human interaction and reimagined through subjective perception 👁🌃📷
