We are excited to share the trailer of the short doc about the Spore with you!

In a collaborative process (with the Schöpflin Foundation, AFF architects, and Studio Johannes Förster), a cinematic portrait of the Spore Initiative in Berlin-Neukölln has been created, capturing the spirit of this unique place. The film not only showcases the architecture but also the ideas behind it, the operators, and the visitors and participants who bring this space to life. It is a meeting point for cultural events, conversations, and community engagement.

Last Friday, the Spore building was honored with the ‘DAM Preis 2025’ – a recognition of its open, sustainable, and context-sensitive design. The jury particularly highlighted the connection between culture and community, the carefully executed re-use principles – free from clichés and full of attention to detail – as well as the successful transformation of its challenging surroundings.

It offers a high-quality, aesthetically refined space that gives a home to and seamlessly combines art and climate justice.

A big thank you to everyone who helped to bring this project to life - especially to the Schöpflin Foundation, which will continue to support the open exchange from the initial idea to its realization and in the future in an ongoing process. A special thanks also goes to the entire Spore team and all the dedicated people working with and for this initiative.

We are happy to share this with y’all – finally.

At the beginning of 2021 in the middle of the pandemic, our friends from Locolor asked us if we would like to make a video with them, as they had some idle time and had been fans of our music for a long time. At the time we were working on 2 songs, one of which was “Dogs” and it was still completely unclear what direction we would take with it. The process of shooting the video and creating a little ‘cosmos’ of its own made us think further and see “Dogs” as a move towards something new. The encouragement of our video.crew and the motivation that came from creative work of the shoot led us to write 9 more songs that eventually became our debut album. Dogs was not only the first song for this album, but ultimately also became the intro to this album (cosmos).
The Song deals with the chaotic, unpredictable nature of relationships and the dissonance between expectations and reality, setting the tone for the album’s exploration of those connections that shape us, for better or worse. „Dogs“ is the sound of losing yourself in the noise and trying to make sense of it.
