4 things I genuinely love about having Southdown Babydoll sheep:π
1. Their smaller size
One of the biggest reasons we chose Babydolls is because they stay much smaller than standard sheep breeds, which makes them easier to handle and less intimidating for beginners. Theyβre incredibly manageable while still being hardy and strong.
2. Their temperament
They are known for being one of the gentlest sheep breeds, and itβs true. Ours are calm, curious, social, and honestly just enjoyable to be around. Theyβve brought such a peaceful energy to our home.
3. Theyβre practical as well as beautiful
They naturally help keep pasture and grass trimmed, which is incredibly useful on a larger property. But beyond that, they truly add to the landscape. Thereβs something so timeless and storybook-like about seeing Babydoll sheep grazing in a field.
4. The cutest little snoots in the world
Honestlyβ¦ they look like teddy bears. Their little faces, fuzzy wool, and sweet expressions are almost unreal. People who meet them instantly fall in love. π€

The ones raising little humans, caring for animals, checking in on everyone, holding traditions together, making people feel safe, loved, seen, and at home. That kind of energy makes the world go around!
I just made my annual pantry herb bowl again πΏ one of my favorite simple traditions. For me, it makes it easy to make mealtime more special (and delicious!) for the people I love. π€

Collective effervescence.β¨
Thatβs absolutely the feeling to describe the Nantucket Daffodil Festival.
Maybe itβs a combination of happy yellow lining the streets, playful daffodils all around, and that everyone showed up for the same slice of magic.
One of my favorite moments was the hat pageant- little glimpses of just how far that magic travels (contestants came from as far as CA, TX, and even several countries in Europe!)πΌ
It really feels like something the Nantucket locals have poured so much attention into and it shows in every detail. Itβs one of our favorite family traditions!

There are two types of people in this world.
People who take baths and people who shower.
I am a bath person. π
So aesthetic updates aside, we knew this space needed a tub + shower and with that, incredible fixtures. In a 387-year-old house like this, it became about creating something that felt true to the space and to us, while still feeling a little unexpected.
Now itβs one of those spaces that makes everyday rituals feel more special, and you somehow leave feeling better than when you walked in.

First off, I live in England. The new one. π Secondly, I care about when a space feels collected, conversational, and warm. Our sunroom finally feels like that.
We fell in love with the @heidicaillierdesign collection with @luluandgeorgia for exactly that reason. Every piece brings a particular sense of comfort, color, and interest without trying too hard. It shines in the details, feels fresh, but yet like itβs always belonged here.
We chose these Paley accent chairs, the Francis floor lamp, the peony bowl, and the peony vase (both large), and each piece stands on its own while beautifully working together. It completely gave our sunroom the richness and personality we were craving.
This collection is the kind where itβs not just about filling a space with beautiful things, but transforming it with pieces that bring a sense of invitation, consideration, and joy!
