Fifteen years ago in the village of Plumkor, Brewerville, a refugee camp was set up for people who did not have the means to leave the country during the civil war. In this camp, children wandered around hopelessly, their futures shaped more by circumstances than opportunities. They were without access to education.The young people spent their day working on the farm, waiting and wondering what their future might hold.
But because of your faithful generosity, that story has changed. Today, there stands a school, J. Dwalu Kimber Elementary and Junior High School. What was once a refugee camp for internally displaced people, is now filled with sounds of children learning, growing, and discovering purpose. Hope is rising. And through it all, the love of Jesus is being seen and felt.

The Coordinator of The Ridley Institute (TRI) is a pivotal role supporting the growth, reach, and organizational excellence of TRI amid a season of significant expansion. Due in part to a recent grant acquisition and a broader renewal of our online presence, this position has expanded substantially beyond its original administrative scope. The Coordinator now carries meaningful responsibility in three additional areas: (1) oversight of online communications, (2) stewardship of relationships with key partners and stakeholders, and (3) tactical management of organizational partnerships, including seminaries and collaborative ministry networks.

This Friday, join the parish family for the Institution of Randy Forrester as the Rector of St. Andrew's Church. (For the uninitiated, Rector is the Anglican word for Senior Pastor.) This is a joyous occasion and all are invited.
We don't do this often at St. Andrew's. The last Institution was over 25 years ago and St. Andrew's has only had 3 rectors, not counting Randy, in the last 50 years.
A reception will follow the service.
