deathcrash’s third album ‘Somersaults’ is out on untitled (recs) today.

These guys are the reason I now work in music. We figured a lot out together as we grew up and I feel really proud and grateful to have worked on this record wearing both the label and management hats. It’s a beautiful, brave thing, and it’s exciting to see it out in the world for everyone to listen to.

Congratulations to the wonderful Dan English on his ‘Sky Record’ released on all platforms today. An indie masterpiece for the ages.

I feel lucky to have been able promote his show earlier in the year at Stoke Newington Old Church, and to have assembled a crack team to play with him.

Tiernan’s beautiful album ‘The Ribbon Songs’ came out in April.

It’s a record that perfectly draws so many of the things we used to obsess over as teenagers into something that I find to be grand and deeply emotive. On it he found his singing voice, and he brought lots of wonderful friends and family together to be part of it.

On the 8th of May he’ll be performing the record at Bow Church, near where he spent so many hours making it. It will be a lovely celebratory evening and I encourage anyone that likes seeing live music to come. Tickets are available via DICE

This photo is from the shoot we did in January for the single Nuala, where I persuaded him to put his head in a goldfish bowl and fill it with smoke. Some things don’t change
