Our dear friend Rick Alverson led the Masterclass Against Certainty and engaged in an exchange with Carlos Reygadas, where they discussed the sensitive and ethical dimensions of cinema, as well as the ways in which intuition, thought, and form intertwine within the creative process.

Rick and Carlos also reflected on intuition, narrative, and the honesty of the creative act, and how this series of gestures, sustained with awareness, can open a more sensitive and fertile space for the gaze.
