New Clients:
Sockit Studio managers Andrew & Faith are in during office hours and can schedule and setup new accounts. They are trained in assisting with choice of studio, engineer, answering questions, and providing studio tours. To setup an account please fill out our New Client form located in our link in bio or call.

Existing clients:
To schedule call during office hours or Text Devon @ 225-772-2267 to book.
.
We do offer short notice / same day bookings but not all assistants & engineers are on call every day.
.
Scheduling time frames:
Advance: Bookings are completed by 6:00 pm the day before the session. Sessions are scheduled to occur based on the engineer and studios availability. First bookings, unattended and short notice sessions are all prepaid. After your first session payment can be made at the end. Sessions 3hrs or longer can be prorated with a minimum billing of 75% of the time booked. 48hr cancellation policy.

Same Day: Bookings start at 6:00 pm the day BEFORE and run until 5:00pm the day of. Rates are $5/hr higher. Payment is due in full & in advance. Five person limit. NO walk-ins, refunds, cancelations, time prorating, or rescheduling.

Sockit Studio now accepts online credit card payments as well as Afterpay and Klarna financing through our Humongous Records account on Stripe. Payment & Financing options start at $25 and can be credited to any clients account at Sockit Studio to be used for any of our services including our mentorship program.

These options offer an affordable way for artist on a dead line to finance their project and also presents a great way to fundraise for their next song or album release. Fans will know exactly where there money is going and artists can feel secure in getting their project completed and in a professional studio.

Account credit never expires and is available to be used immediately. Payment links are available at the bottom of our Linktree in bio or can be emailed upon request.

There was no recording studio in North America that could come close to the capabilities of SMS in its prime. I’ve often said that going to Full Sail was like getting my undergrad and working in NYC was where I got my graduate degree. This is one of my “grad” schools with Unique Recording being the other.

Sockit Studio and owner @devonkirkpatrick are pleased to announce the formation of The Sockit Engineering Mentorship Program @sockitmentoring This program is optimized for anyone wishing to gain a solid audio engineering foundation and learn the art of recording, mixing, and mastering with Devon as their mentor. The program’s roots are Devon’s experience at Full Sail University, Unique Recording, Sony Music Studios, and as the owner of Sockit Studio for 25 years. This experience is supplemented with six textbooks, one of which was the primary textbook for The Recording Connection. Devon mentored through their program at Sockit Studio over the last 18 years. During his career, Devon has taught and mentored over one hundred studio staff engineers and students.
