January 2023 ✈️ Handling socials for the world buskers festival on top of my normal stuff (see, the stop in Sydney on the way) was nonstop but so rewarding 💕 #breadandcircusnz #worldbuskersfestival #socialmediamanager

This is a short doco we started making in 2021, we wanted to show the process of a Fringe show coming together. Sadly, our friends from Perth Cabaret Collective were affected by the 2021 lock downs and ended up losing their whole sold out run 😢 We picked up with them again in 2022 for their triumphant return to stage, the whole 12 minute video is on Nights at Fringe YouTube 🎪

At the moment I have a job which I love. I work in the arts sector, I get to travel a little bit and I have a lot of freedom of creativity to create content and test out ideas. I also still have a bit of time to work on my passion projects, of which I always have a few 👩‍🎤

Meet Noelle Beasley nee Willcock, she’s lived in Perth for 90 years and worked for ABC radio in the 1950s.
This is an excerpt from a 15 minute mini-documentary that I made to celebrate Noelle’s 90th birthday in December 2021. She has a lifetime of local history and amazing stories to tell. I interviewed Noelle for about an hour and spent some time researching to find old photos and news clippings to add to the completed film.

Very early 2020 saw the inaugural Nights at Fringe, an online talk show where we interview artists taking part in the Perth Fringe Festival (Fringeworld), which is the 3rd largest Fringe in the world. I came on board to produce and handle all the socials and organising. For the 2021 season I secured an Arts grant and we were able to hire professional videographers and editors. I organise all the interviews, direct them, direct the editing, handle the uploading to Youtube and the accompanying Facebook page and Instagram - @nightsatfringe . It's a passion project.

In my current role as a social media coordinator I have a wide range of responsibilities. My main work includes planning and scheduling posts, growing our organic following and exploring new options for promotion, such as TikTok ads. I really love creating and producing videos so making social video content is one of my favorite things to do for the accounts I run.
