Celebrated 1 decade, 10 years, 3650 days with @darasalamante. She made this amazing booklet filled with 10 years of food dates we went on. Each ticket had the name and address of the restruants, and lil inside jokes for each place.

Being in a relationship with you has been the most consistent pleasure of my life. Your love, empathy, and pursuit of novelty has gifted me many new experiences, hobbies, and of course, great food. You make me a more empathetic person, you challenge me to see the world from your point of view, you desperately crave for me to try new things, and that makes me a more interesting, kind, and curious person. Career Milestone Moment!

I was lucky enough to join @nolanaudio and @nativetonguela for 2 days as their boom operator. It was my first @glassengine gig, and my first time working on the Univeral Studios lot.

To say I was nervous is an understatement. I was entering a space that had legacy, that had scale, that had been THE space where so many films, TV shows, and commercials had been created.

It was humbling to wander between the looming sound stages, and even more humbling when I got lost. But as I passed so many people that looked like me, young, nervous, anxious crew members, I felt a strange sense of comraderie.

When I finally stepped into sound stage 37 I had to just stop and take it all in. I was here. And as we packed up to leave, I once again stopped and took it in. I was here.

I cannot fully express in words how validating it feels to be amongst people that are experts of their craft, that have mountains of experience, and that are generous enough to share their knowledge with you. It's an amazing feeling, and it excites me because there is still so much to learn.

I was lucky enough to join @nolanaudio and @nativetonguela for 2 days as their boom operator. It was my first @glassengine gig, and my first time working on the Univeral Studios lot.

To say I was nervous is an understatement. I was entering a space that had legacy, that had scale, that had been THE space where so many films, TV shows, and commercials had been created.

It was humbling to wander between the looming sound stages, and even more humbling when I got lost. But as I passed so many people that looked like me, young, nervous, anxious crew members, I felt a strange sense of comraderie.

When I finally stepped into sound stage 37 I had to just stop and take it all in. I was here. And as we packed up to leave, I once again stopped and took it in. I was here.

I cannot fully express in words how validating it feels to be amongst people that are experts of their craft, that have mountains of experience, and that are generous enough to share their knowledge with you. It's an amazing feeling, and it excites me because there is still so much to learn.

Today, March 14, 2022 my great grandmother Dr. Maggie Lim is featured on the Google Banner page.
Although I never had the chance to meet her in life, I see her legacy through her work in Healthcare in Singapore and her legacy in championing woman's health.
Her story was passed down to me by my Grandmother, Dr. Patricia Lin, who impressed upon me our family's legacy of fighting for diversity, equity, and inclusion. My grandmother is so many things, a historian, scholar, ballroom dancer, but most of all she is someone who always pushed me to think deeply about the world and our place in it.
This international women's month is especially important to me because I have the fortune to reflect vividly on the women who have changed the world and my life. To my family members, teachers, coaches, mentors, and friends, thank you for boldly being you.
