My short film is finally out ❤️‍🔥You can watch it on Vimeo, with the link in my bio ❤️💫💖
Have you ever watched someone who is meant to see the Ocean settle for a pond, or even a puddle, only to realize you have been the one drowning in a sip of water the whole time. This is all inspired by a lil’ poem I wrote, inspired by….let’s say a multitude of events. It’s made for all the people that never stopped searching for the Ocean, regardless of how tired they got.
It’s quite short, but it has a big heart. 🌊💖
I’d like to thank @m.a.garv for being the first person to hear the poem and getting goosebumps! Thank you for listening to me blab about why I made it for what seems like centuries now and always making me believe in myself ily 💖💖💖

Lil’ voice over bts, from a very unhinged version. 🌊
Using your voice over for your film makes you have cooky edits like this. In the beginning my dream was to have the guy who does the opening in Pan’s Labyrinth, but since he was busy or whatever, I decided to go with my own voice. I think it made the whole film more personal, even though I’d like to think it’s every film makers worst nightmare to hear your own voice.

Choosing yourself when you love someone is one of the hardest things you can do and honestly some days you’ll even think “god, self respect sucks.” So out of spite, out of grief, loss and often hope and love, I made this film about a character that will stop at nothing until they find what they’re meant for - the Ocean. 🌊
