SHOTY SOTI is an experimental duo rooted in different singing cultures and experimental poetry, electronic sound and self-made, recycle instruments. SOTI´s vocal electronic approach is a brave reflection about the contemporary technology-manipulated voice and so are the social media opposite, non-digital "face-filter" masks of SHOTY.
this is SHOTY @shoty.ndjoli who sings in lingala and creates his own instruments out of found objects and trash. his signature sculptures (masks) transform the face of the duo. he is originally from kinshasa - congo, bringing a rich flavour of pulse and energy.
