Yuki Okumura’s work ‘Transpersonal Gestural Bicentrum’, 2017, features a personal exploration and investigation into the parallel activities of himself in Belgium and artist Gordon Matta-Clark’s work in Belgium during the 1970’s. The video work seen as stills on the aluminium mounted photographs depict an intimate dialogue with the Belgian curator ‘Flor Bex’, former Director of the ICC Antwerp who retells his memories of Matta-Clark’s time in Belgium and the 1977, large scale building intervention titled ‘Office Baroque’.
