Aw gosh, I'm selling this MCI JH-110 1" 8-track. I love its sound – my favorite of any of the tape machines here - but I finally have the chance to get my dream machine, a 2" 16-track, so something has to go. Lots of love, skilled service, and great music have gone into this deck. @humbirdhumbird Billy Joel covers project, the first song submissions sessions and more. I have a JRF report that lists the heads as being 100% when it came to me about two years ago, so several lifetimes of service left in this thing. MRL tape and a few 1" reels included. @darc.uwec Driftless Audio Recording Collective visited the studio to talk about tape recording last night and it was a great hang! Fun to nerd out, remember what it felt like to get into this, and pass along what I've been fortunate to learn.
