This felt so much like a dream, everything that one could ask for came together for me at the screening of “Bandar” at the Toronto International Film Festival. This was my first feature film that I shot as a Cinematographer and couldn’t have asked for a better director than Anurag Kashyap himself.
He entrusted me with this opportunity at a time when I was still coming into my own as a filmmaker. My humility and gratitude for this moment will always be beyond what I can string together in words.Every moment shared and experienced on the set of Bandar was lived fully, knowing that the chaos that appeared as an uninvited guest, or so we thought, was, in fact, the very process we were surrendering ourselves to. 
I found home in each person on the set who shouldered the film and let our imaginations take over, the ones who nurtured each stray thought of mine like their own and brought it to life using all their might. 

Socks pulled, laces tied, the film has got me ready to now move on to many more of such fuller journeys ahead.
