Barney Frank and I came to Congress together. The minute he got here, he was a fountain of energy, intelligence, morality, and creativity – all aimed at making the world a better place. He never stopped and has had an amazing impact.

We remained good friends after he retired, and we would continually discuss his plethora of incredible ideas to improve this country and this world that he loved so much. I will miss him as a friend, and the world will miss him as a great humanitarian leader.

Who’s having the worst week? Senate Republicans or Donald Trump?

Hard to say when it’s only Wednesday and they’re all in a downward spiral where every day feels like a new rock bottom.

I’m launching Senate Democrats’ Election Protection Task Force to prevent, monitor, and challenge any malfeasance from Donald Trump and the far-right before, during, and after our elections in November.

Our task force is bringing together 11 senators and some of the sharpest elections experts in the country to safeguard our democracy.

Trump negotiated a get out of jail free card with himself.

This week, for the EIGHTH time, @SenateDems are forcing a vote on our War Powers Resolution to withdraw our troops from hostilities with Iran.

It was an incredible honor to meet with the crew of Artemis II today.

This team is the best of America and an inspiration to billions around the globe.

And for once, @SenMarkKelly wasn’t the only astronaut in the room!

These are the words Americans used to describe the economy right now.

All because of Donald Trump’s costly tariffs, disastrous war with Iran, and failed economic agenda.

Each month Trump’s war drags on, the pain increases for American families.

Republicans must vote with us this week to end the war and bring down these Trump-induced, skyrocketing costs.

I am so grateful to be able to celebrate with my mom, Selma, who is less than a month away from her 98th birthday, and my wife, Iris, and my two daughters, Jessica and Alison, all great moms themselves.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day of celebrating their mothers, who should really be celebrated every day!
