Birthright hits Australian cinemas today! ๐๐ฅ
The Western Australian film is a darkly twisted tale about a disillusioned generation and their chase for the success of their baby boomer parents, from WA writer and director Zoe Pepper.
๐ก Filmed on location in the Perth Hills across five weeks in 2024, Birthright made its world premiere at New York's Tribeca Film Festival. It had subsequent screenings at CinefestOZ and Perth Festival's Lotterywest Films.
The thriller comedy was made possible thanks to Screenwestโs highly coveted West Coast Visions initiative which is designed to uncover, inspire and develop talented and motivated WA filmmakers with distinctive visions to produce their debut feature film in WA. ๐ฌ
Congratulations to all involved! ๐
